Dublin Core

A standard vocabulary framework that provides terms for describing digital and physical resources. Designed and promoted in support of interoperability, Dublin Core can be used when defining metadata structure in order to ensure that metadata elements can be recognized and used by Dublin Core savvy applications.The set of 15 terms included in the original Dublin Core specification are endorsed by several standards, including: IETF RFC 5013; ISO Standard 15836-1:2017; NISO Standard Z39.85.
