Frank Branch is the Senior Manager for Ontology at Electronic Arts. In this capacity, he leads the information design efforts for a large ecosystem of multimedia content for an audience of more than 300 million registered players. Frank has a Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Washington with specialization in knowledge representation, cultural informatics, and digital curation. He has authored articles and textbook chapters on ontologies in popular culture, has patents related to the use of ontology for curation tasks, and has been designing content and information environments for Fortune 500 media and ecommerce companies for over 20 years.
