DITA

An XML-based markup language, Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA), was developed by IBM to support a topic-based content architecture. It supports the authoring, processing, and publishing of content components—reusable portions of content that can be pulled together in different assemblies for publication.DITA is an open standard managed by the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS).
